Sysphere is a standing member and practices standard guidelines of the American Institute for the Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works (AIC) & FAIC Washington, DC.

Since art begins to change from the moment the artist is finished working on it, therefore damaged artwork requires preservation and protection, which is essential to maintain the best possible condition of artwork to prevent further damage, thous, SYSPHERE FINE ART CONSERVATION & RESTORATION (SFACR): offers comprehensive conservation and restoration services, along with consultation, documentation, and condition reports for damaged art work to preserve clients valuable Fine Art Collections.

SFACR founded by the internationally renowned conservator and restorer Sysphere, a highly accomplished visionary multi-discipline fine artist, designer and art dealer. He specialized in Old Masters painting techniques at The School of Art Institute of Chicago & Loyola University Chicago.

Recently, Sysphere was part of the Andrew W. Mellon foundation collaborative symposium at the Harvard University faculty club in Cambridge and prints conservation workshop at Northeast Document Conservation Center Andover, MA. Originally as a child prodgy Sy was trained & taught fine art by his professor father a virtuoso conservator, artist and a Renaissance man.

After receiving hands-on training for 20 plus years of conservation and restoration techniques taught by seasoned professionals at the best studios in Chicago and New York, Sy established his first full-service Fine Art loft Atelier in downtown Chicago in early 1980's, afterwords at the turn of the new millennium Sy moved to California and established his new Atelier in SOMA San Francisco.

Over the past 40 years Sy has achieved virtuosity and refinement in conservation practice, providing extreme care, innovative solutions, creativity and craftsmanship, as well as exceptional technical abilities with in-depth knowledge of materials and methodologies, reverting the damaged artworks to their original pristine conditions, such as oils, acrylics, mixed media, paintings, murals, works on paper, watercolors, gouaches, screens, scrolls, objects, sculptures, and frames. The wide scope of masterfully restored artworks by Sy includes, hundreds of art works from major schools of art and genres such as Old Masters, School of Barbizon, Impressionism, Contemporary Art, Modernism, Post-Modernism, Western, Asian and World art from valuable estate and private collections, art galleries and museums.

Maestro has been a mentor and inspiration for students from prestigious institutions like Ecole Conte, Paris, France, The Art Institute of Chicago, American Academy Chicago, Art Institute San Francisco, Minerva University International, San Francisco, and others, towards their higher degree accreditations for number of years. Sysphere is now being recognized as a "restorer's restorer" (see examples below).

Simultaneously along side of Conserving/Restoring, Creating and Producing Fine Art, Sy has developed art collections for clients worldwide, as an Art Dealer and Director of Martin Lawrence Galleries, Wentworth Galleries and Franklin Bowles Galleries in San Francisco, New York and Chicago. He was recently interviewed live by National Public Radio regarding an $82 million Andy Warhol painting damaged at the SFMOMA.

By appointment only. All inquiries and calls are returned within 24 hours.

Would it be helpful to send photographs of the damaged artwork?
A :
Absolutely. It will help to assess the damage to the artwork. It is best to send the pictures via text alongside your information.

What is the cost estimate to fix my artwork?
A :
Testing the artwork and creating a condition report is highly recommended to determine the estimated cost of treatment. Depending on the scope of the project, the cost of testing and condition report starts from $100. The studio minimum is $500 for any treatment required.

What’s the turnaround time to finish the project?
A :
Time estimate varies according to workload on a first come, first serve basis. Normally, average time is 4 - 6 weeks.

What’s your preferred mode of communication?
A :
Calling is preferred. Emails and texts are also welcome.
